Part Time Farm Manager-Position:

Sweet Delilah Farm is looking for a part-time, skilled farm manager to help run our flower farm for the 2025 season. The farm manager will primarily oversee daily operations including seeding schedules, pest management schedules, planting, harvesting, post-harvesting, and other farm related tasks and overseeing any other crew if Chelsea is off the farm.

  This position requires a strong, practical knowledge of agricultural skills and farm management, and a passionate commitment to providing quality floral products to our customers.  Flower farming experience is not a requirement but experience in agriculture is.

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

  • Implementing, and adjusting (as needed), an existing crop plan of the fields. This includes: succession schedule, bed preparation, transplanting and direct sowing.

  • Irrigation, organic pest and disease management, soil health, and weed control

  • Plan and delegate farm schedules

  • Maintain high energy and fast paced work environment for all aspects of day to day farming.

Skills: 

  • At least 1 year experience managing a farm or 2+ years working on a working farm **This is required to apply

  • Can create a seeding and pest management schedule on your own

  • Self-motivated, cooperative, and flexible

  • Excellent Communication Skills 

  • Comfortably able to life a minimum of 50lbs

  • Clean drivers license and reliable transportation for commuting to and from the farm

  • Comfortable with problem-solving, decision-making, developing and working within budgets

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through 

  • Sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit 

  • Interest in collaboration on all farm activities and generating new ideas for growth

  • It is important that this person affirms all identities, especially those within the LGBTQ community. 

 Terms:

  • This position is part time 12-15 hours/week. Longer hours may be required during busy times and events 

  • Pay is $20/hour

  • Ability to work some weekends during the season is a must 

  • Start date is estimated in mid February. (Working hours may be limited in February). 

  • Contractual commitment for the season will be required 

Our farm intern positions are the perfect way to get hands on flower farming and floral design experience. You will work with Chelsea and the farm manager regularly to learn the ins and outs of flower farming as well as hands on floral design skills.

Sweet Delilah Farm Crew Position:

This position is for a farm crew member looking to get hands on flower farmer/florist experience. Come work with us this season and tend to the day-day operations of the farm. This is a part time position. Prior farm, agriculture, or horticultural experience is preferred. This season we are looking specifically for someone who can make connections with florists and help with deliveries in addition to on farm work

Skills:

  • Self-motivated, cooperative, and flexible

  • Excellent Communication Skills 

  • Comfortably able to life a minimum of 50lbs

  • Clean drivers license and reliable transportation for commuting to and from the farm for deliveries

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through

Terms:

  • This position is approximately 10 hours/week.

  • Ability to work weekends for UPicks is a must if needed (This is not an every weekend commitment, we will rotate weekends)

  • Contractual commitment will be required through the end of the farm season

  • Start date is estimated in February. (Working hours may be limited in February). 

Social Media Manager:

Sweet Delilah Farm is looking for a part-time social media manager to help create content and manage the social media pages, newsletter, and content creation in collaboration with Chelsea. Please send links to social media accounts you run/manage in your application.
